OLAO’s Women’s Health & Well-Being Programme promotes the physical, mental, emotional, and maternal health of women through health education, counselling, and community-based support services. The programme supports safe motherhood, psychosocial well-being, and overall wellness, enabling women to live healthy, dignified, and empowered lives within their families and communities.

Responsibilities

Our primary mission is to provide compassionate care, hope, and support to women facing health, maternal, emotional, and social challenges. We create safe spaces where women are respected, listened to, and supported to heal and grow. Through counselling sessions, maternal health education, wellness retreats, and group discussions, women are empowered to improve self-care, mental well-being, and parenting practices. Individual counselling is provided where deeper or specialised support is required.

OLAO also conducts health and life-skills workshops focusing on maternal health and safe motherhood, nutrition, stress management, mental health, and healthy lifestyles. These activities equip women with practical knowledge and skills that strengthen maternal outcomes, family health, and women’s active participation in community life.
